MOA Board Fills Vacant Director Position
The MOA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that their vacant Director position will be filled by Ms. Brenda Durant effective immediately. The term will expire at the 2009 Annual Meeting, at which time someone will be elected to the final year of the original three year term.
The Board received applications from four very qualified candidates. After much thought and deliberation, the Board voted four-to-two in favor of appointing Ms. Durant to the Director position.
The Board wishes to thank all four candidates for running. Congratulations Brenda and good luck!
Annual Directors Meeting
Election Results - Voting of Directors
Ms. MaryJo Rief and Ms. Mary Ann Skibinski, co-chairpersons of the Election Committee, announced the election results as follows:
Ms. Carolyn Study: 486 Votes
Mr. Jay Welter: 415 Votes
Article IX of the MOA Bylaws: 472 votes in favor of removal from the bylaws and 64 votes not in favor of removal from the bylaws. The proposition was passed.
The Committee announced that a total of 538 votes had been tallied.
